Signing in
KStream accounts use an email address and password, or Google. If you forgot your password, use Reset password; the link in the email is valid for one hour. You stay signed in on a device until you sign out from your profile.
Watching
Playback adapts to your connection (360p to 1080p). A stable 5 Mbps line is enough for 720p. Playback resumes where you left off on any device once you have watched more than 30 seconds. Keyboard shortcuts on the web player: Space play/pause, ←/→ 10 s (Shift: 30 s), F full screen, M mute, C captions, 0–9 jump.
Supported devices
Current browsers on desktop and phone (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari), Android phones and tablets, iPhone and iPad, Android TV and Fire TV. Apple TV, LG and Samsung TVs are planned.
Your account and data
You can change your display name and delete your account from Profile. Deleting removes your watch history and list; it cannot be undone. See the Privacy policy for what we store.
For Studio admins: artwork guidelines
Poster 2:3, at least 600×900 px. Backdrop 16:9, at least 1920×1080 px, with the subject in the left two thirds (the hero gradient darkens the left edge). JPG or PNG up to 10 MB. If no poster is uploaded, a frame at 10 % of the film is used.
Data sources
Film details such as taglines, cast and crew, and some posters and backdrops come from The Movie Database (TMDB).
This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
Country detection for regional availability uses the IP Geolocation by DB-IP “IP to Country Lite” database (CC BY 4.0).
Where you can watch
Some titles and live events are licensed for specific countries. Where that is the case the page says “Not available in your country” and the title stays out of your rows and search. Your country is detected from your connection; travelling changes what you can play.
Codes and gifts
Redeem a gift or promo code at stream.kit.africa/redeem or from Profile → Redeem a code. Codes look like ABCD-EFGH-JKLM-NPQR and never contain 0, O, 1 or I. Gift subscriptions are bought in the KStream app.
